Join us at the tea house on Thursday during the Occidental Farmers Market Obon Celebration as we talk story with chanoyu tea ceremony practitioner Hideko Oga and friends about the significance of Obon for the Japanese community.
In an open community dialogue and light Q&A, we invite you to join us and share memories & stories of how ancestors are remembered and honored in your family and in global cultures across the world. Hideko-san & Adrian will also offer an intimate but casual preparation and service of Maccha (Matcha) for anyone interested.
